Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
We begin at Temora on Wednesday 8th May, with 457m 5th Grade Heats ($5,000 non-penalty final) - there is extra prize money for all graded races over 457m, 570m & 732m. Also on Wednesday, at Richmond, there are 520m 5th Grade Heats leading to an $8,000 non-penalty final. There is extra prize money for all races and all races over 622m & 722m will carry city-class prize money.
At Casino on Thursday 9th May, the meeting features 484m 4/5th Grade Heats, leading to a $6,000 Final.
All eyes will be on Dubbo on Saturday 11th May, for the 516m The Brother FOX Heats! That's a $50,000 Final the following Saturday! The card will also feature the Bill & Peg Miller Mixed 0-2 Win Heats ($20,000 non-penalty final). Still on Saturday, at Wentworth Park, we'll see 520m 5th Grade 1-4 Win Dogs Only and 520m 5th Grade 1-4 Win Bitches Only Heats - both with $6,000 non-penalty finals.
Mother's Day at Grafton on Sunday 12th May will feature 450m 5th Grade 1-3 Win Heats, with a $4000 non-penalty final.
On Monday 13th May at Richmond, there are 401m Maiden Heats ($1,500 Final), and at Nowra, we'll see 520m 5th Grade Heats ($4,000 non-penalty final).
At Bulli on Tuesday 14th May there are 340m Maiden Heats ($2,500 Final) and at Dubbo, the support card for Brother FOX night will be decided with 318m Maiden Heats ($10,000 Final) and 400m 4/5th Grade Heats ($10,000 Final).
